Abhyanga Massage

Abhyanga massage is a form of Ayurvedic medicine that involves massage of the body with large amounts of warm oil. The oil is often pre-medicated with herbs for specific  functions.   Often, abhyanga is performed by two or more massage therapists working in sync but it can also be done one to one..  The oils  can vary depending on the season and the individual’s constitution.Commonly used oils include sesame, coconut, sunflower, mustard and almond. The massage treatment is nourishing and relaxing. It relieves fatigue, boosts stamina,  improves quality of sleep, and enhances the complexion and luster of the skin. 

The procedure

The procedure includes a gentle massage of the legs, and an energetic massage of the head, body and face.

Udvartana Massage

Udvartana (detoxing powder massage) is performed by using detoxifying herbs, rubbed all over the body with vigorous movements allowing subcutaneous tissues to release their toxins efficiently. The herbs are mixed first in nourishing oil that maximises the effect of micro-dermal abrasion resulting in an efficient exfoliation of the skin. Udvartana is the treatment of choice for cellulite and overweight.

The procedure

The treatment starts with a gentle massage with aromaoils followed with the dry powder  massage ensuing the detoxifying powder massage of the body.

Yantra massage is a massage technique which is aimed at renewing the balance and harmony of  body, mind and spirit..

 Yantra Massage is a unique combination of body relaxation and energy rejuvenation. It gives your body unforgettable feelings of lightness, rest and reviving energy. The massage is performed using aroma oils and in the atmosphere of relaxing nature sounds.

The procedure

The treatment has a smoothing effect on the skin and brings calmness and  clarity to your mind. The procedure includes peeling followed by massage.
