‘Art Cube’ or the artistic project ‘Free’

The Art Foundation ‘Vilni’ presented the project ‘ART-CUBE’ last weekend in Lviv in the Bohdan Khmelnitsky Park of Culture and Recreation (4, Bulgarian Street). The metal construction of stage scaffolding of 6 meters wide and height, filled with almost three dozen of paintings and four sculptures was placed on the central avenue of the park. At night almost 30 light elements with the help of a timer highlight a certain group of paintings in turn, forming the right perception by the spectators. The authors of the project had the aim to show the young Lviv artists to general public. Later, they are planning to involve cultural figures from all over Ukraine and share their creative works with artists abroad. The author of the project, a psychologist and art restorer Olha Filatova noted that the main task of the current project was to show Lviv its pearl, support the talented youth and finally create the cultural capital of Ukraine. “Our project is a certain message to the citizens of Lviv: let’s make the world better. Together. Here and now, “- said Olha Filatova. The four sculptures from the project ‘Dead and Alive’ presented by Lviv artist and art restorer Victor Prodanchuk became the central part of ‘ART-CUBE’. In general, spectators among whom there were artists and people not related to art, apprehended the project very well, examined the works with great interest and took photos enthusiastically.
